How much does it cost us to plant a new vineyard in Tuscany?

We want to be open and transparent when it comes to what it takes for us to plant and maintain a new organic vineyard row in its first year of its life at Tenuta Le Mandorlaie, for your information, here is the breakdown of what is costs us;

• 100 new grape vines, organic and certified virus free €280
• Support poles and wires €330
• Labour for planting €160
• Watering, Pruning, grass cutting in the vineyard for the year €120
• Grape collection, processing and wine making €410
• Bottling, bottles, corks, top caps, labels, carton boxes €2 per bottle

So there we have it, the total cost for us €1300 for the planting and management of the vineyard row.
