One of our favorite trees – Pendolino Olive tree in North West Olive Grove

We love all our tree’s and wanted to start documenting the trees on our property, and maybe even take some time out to feature some trees not on our property.

The care of existing older trees is important for our environment, it is probably seen as more as important than planting new trees as old trees are already doing a massive job regarding caring for our environment.

This weeks favorite tree

So onto this weeks favorite tree, this beautiful olive tree can can be found in the North west corner of our home olive grove, it is an olive tree that is around 70 years old and 5 metres tall.

It is of the olive variety we know as Pendolino, so named due to its drooping branches laden with olives, known also as a super pollinator it is regularly planted within other olive varieties to aid pollination.
